  Now only glimpsed from the Wilmot Pass Road the Falls where a grand feature of the old Manapouri Doubtful Sound Walking Track and from the aptly named Halfway Hut day shelter that stood on the edge of the clearing where the Falls are located until it was removed in the 1970s
